We've Discovered the Health Benefits of the
Amazon Rainforest and You Can Too!

Discover the Health Secrets of the Amazon Rainforest!
Many call him "Amazon John", He's trekked throughout the
Amazon Basin since the early 1970's, first lured down there by
lost cities gold and Inca treasures. He faced piranhas and snakes
found only in the deepest jungles, mosquito swarms at night so
thick you can't see in front of you, headhunters insects that think
flesh is good to burrow in, and a language barrier of the tribal people
he met. Little did he know that he real discovery he would make
would have far greater value than gold and had the potential to
impact world health.

Q: Amazon John, how did your background as a treasure
hunter lead to your current passion of ethnobotany?
A: I've always had a passion for discovering lost treasures and lost
secrets, looking and searching for lost civilizations. I've always
known that somewhere in Amazonia lies secrets to be discovered
that can alter the course of mankind.

For years I dealt with Amazonian tribal artifact, pre-Columbian
textiles and other treasures from ancient civilizations.

My personal compromise was the fact that I had
hepatitis and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever earlier in life
with a near death experience in a hospital. Because my liver
and kidneys were compromised, I was always dealing with
chronic fatigue type of symptoms.

I was working with some Shipibo/Conibo Indians on the
Ucayali River and recognizing my poor state of health, they
offered me their herbal remedies. They brewed up a tea of
Una de Gato and Chanca Piedra and over a ten day period
of drinking this tea, it took my health back, not only to where Amazon John
it was prior to my illness, but to an entirely new level of life
experience.  Not only did I feel the strong energy flow come
back, but my senses were sharpened and my thinking
was much clearer.
Q: What happened next?
A: I began to bring some of these herbs back and gave
them to a variety of health practitioners. A strong interest
developed amongst these doctors and the Amazon Herb
Company was formed.

Q: How did  you create the original formulas & have they
changed over the years?
A: The original formulas were all based on traditional uses and
information from the "curanderos" and healers from the Rainforest.
I met a woman, in the Nicole Maxwell Amazon who had spent 40 years studying the plants.

Nicolle Maxwell was a real pioneer and my first mentor. I took her back to the
Amazon when she was 84 years old and on that trip, working with
her knowledge base and dealing with Amazonian shamans,
an entirely different life path was revealed to him.
We spent 3 years researching and working exclusively with health
care practitioners that are on the cutting edge of alternative medicine
in the US, Canada, Spain and Belgium.
Over this period of time 43 formulas were developed.
One of the most important startling piece of information we recognized
was that our entire population saw the same degenerative issues. These
issues fall into 8 major categories-

1) compromised immune system
2) environmental toxicity
3) inefficient digestion
4) stress related issues
5) hormonal imbalances
6) energy circulation
7) pain swelling and inflammation
8) metabolism & weight control

So we concentrated the formulas down to address the major issues of the
population.

Q: How do you collect herbs in the Rainforest
and what impact does your work have on the
     environment?
A: The botanicals used are ecologically and
sustainably wild crafted by the indigenous groups.
We now work with 14 Indian communities in the
Amazon.
Once the herbs are harvested, they are brought
down to our facility in Yarinacochu, Peru.
By providing resources to the local villages, we
are making the Rainforests more valuable alive than
dead. With these new resources, their self-worth
and dignity is returning. They can make new decisions
about their future they did not have to make for several
generations. In fact, my original degree is in
environmental studies, and this endeavor employs
the principles of environmental economic.
We are able to facilitate preservation of the Rainforests
and it's indigenous people. Each time a bottle of the herbs
moves in commerce, not only do people experience the
extraordinary health benefits, but benefits spin back right
down to the village level. In addition, we help the Indians
get the rights to their land we are buying chunks of
Rainforest that is put into Amazon reserve.

The company controls and monitors every step throughout the harvest, transport,
extraction, bottling/encapsulation and storage right up to the delivery to you.

Q: What have people's response been so far to this mission and
these products?
A: I believe as the consciousness of people continues to expand we
are finding geometric increase in the number of people embracing
not only natural healing technologies, but also people understanding
the true value of our living Rainforest.
After all, this is our planet's highest concentration of life energy
and the last uncontaminated source of nutrients, chemistry and information.

Q: Why do you consider the Rainforest herbs so special?
A: It's about eating wild food grown in virgin soil. The food
supply we have today is a far cry from the foods our ancestors ate.
The Amazon Rainforest contains 200,000 species of plants.

Only 2% have been studied for their therapeutic values, yet from
that tiny percent come almost half of our pharmaceuticals.
The Amazon Rainforest is the source of a host of new novel compounds
that are missing in our food supply and hold the secrets to resolving
the degenerative health issues that have become so common in our
society.
